Regardless if the hard drive used in RAID are SATA or SCSI we can offer you RAID RECOVERY solutions. We also insure recovery services for RAID HARDWARE or RAID SOFTWARE.
The most frequent cases requiring RAID DATA RECOVERY are RAID 0 matrixes or RAID 5. Here are some frequent RAID RECOVERY cases :
There are many such unpleasant situations you can be confronted with even if you have a RAID configured which would insure the necessary redundancy. For such cases we bring you professional recovery solutions based on years of experience in the field.
If you have a raid which requires data recovery, please contact us! One of our technicians will diagnose the RAID and you will then be informed on your chances of recovering the data as well as the recovery of costs. For any details concerning the shipment access our shipment page.
Case No. 1 - SAN HP MSA2000 24 x HDD SATA 1TB
One of the more special cases I've worked on over the past few months is a 24-hp SAN configuration from HP. Specifically, two HP MSA2000 12 SATA 1TB HDDs.
In this case the client was with the storage to another old-time retrieval company in Romania before coming to us and the company concluded that the data can not be recovered.
Both storage devices had RAID 5 configurations altered due to voltage problems and client rebuilding procedures. In this case, it took more than 100 hours of work to reach customer data and deliver almost 15TB of data to the original folder and file structure.
Case No. 2 - Storage FUJITSU PRIMERGY SX30 10 x HDD SCSI ST3146707LC
In this case, the STORAGE was connected to a FUJITSU SERVER that at one point simply could not mount the data volume. In this case, two of the 10 SCSI HDDs ceded, the configuration being RAID 5, the client had no other options.
We analyzed the two defective HDDs and we were able to recover one of the two HDDs. Subsequently, specific volume reassembly procedures were performed on our professional equipment.
After about 25 hours of work I managed to recover 100%, about 600GB of data.
Case No. 3 - DELL Power Vault MD3200 12 x HDD SAS ST31000424SS
Serverul a ajuns in service-ul nostru cu urmatoarea problema, citat client : "3 DISK-URI DEFECTE, DISCKURILE DEFECTE SUNT IN SLOTURILE 4,7,9 HOT SPARE IN II, ASTA ESTE CONFIGURATIA RAID 5. MD-UL ERA CONECTAT LA UN DELL R710 CU SAS 2.0 STIPE SIZE 128KB"
In this case, the STORAGE was connected to a FUJITSU SERVER that at one point simply could not mount the data volume. In this case, two of the 10 SCSI HDDs ceded, the configuration being RAID 5, the client had no other options.

These are only some cases we presented with the intention of giving you an idea of the failures we can solve.

If you have a RAID you want to recover the data from we will take over your device for service and a free diagnosis or you can send it to us using the information on our shipment page.
RAID 0 - This type of raid is very used for the performance of a virtual hard drive from two hard drives. That is, if you have two hdd of 500 GB and want to put them into RAID 0 you will get a virtual hdd of 1 TB. The advantage of this type of RAID is speed because a file is split automatically to the two hard drives. The disadvantage is that if one of the disks fail, the recovery of the data is only possible by remedying the problem of the defective hard. In case the defective hard disk cannot be remedied, there is no way to recover the data.
RAID 5 - At present the most frequently used servers are RAID 5, the advantage of this type of RAID consists of the fact that it can be formatted into many hdds, at least 3 and maximum according to the RAID controller capacity. This type of RAID most often does not require HARDWARE encoding. Another advantage of this type of raid consists of the small space used on a hard drive to insure redundancy. Practically in case a hdd crashes the system keeps on working based on the other functional hard disks. The disadvantage of this type of RAID is the speed which can be relatively low because the controller must encode all the data to insure redundancy. Usually it is necessary to recover the data from these RIDS if they are corrupt.
RAID 1 - Mirroring-is one of the most secure types of RAID, practically all the information is written to two hard drives at the same time. The advantage of this type of raid is clearly safety, in case a hdd fails there is the second hard drive containing the same information. The disadvantage is the fact that it is slower, since it writes the same data twice and limits the number of hard disks to maximum 2. In 98% of cases the recovery of the data is not necessary if one of the hard disks fail. The only situations requiring the recovery of data are human errors, practically if the user accidentally deletes data; it is deleted from both hard drives.
RAID 10 - This type of RAID captures the speed of a RAID 0 and also takes advantage of the REDUNDANTA of a RAID 1. It is characterized by the fact that the information is divided into strips and then written on two HDDs at the same time a stripe is written in duplicate on a MIRROR-ing of two HDDs after which the next strip is written on another MIRROR-ing made up of two other HDDs. We believe it is the safest RAID configuration. However, these configurations also come in service for recovery because sometimes they have two HDDs, in turn, because the server is not monitored or at the same time due to voltage fluctuations.
